ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council), this prestigious Diploma is recognised worldwide and by all professional insurance companies.
Anatomy and Physiology is a compulsory subject for all holistic therapies. This course is delivered over 7 months. Each session will cover systems of the body and the pathology associated with them. The Teachers delivering this subject use a simplified approach and incorporate visual and theory elements to appeal to all learning styles. The knowledge gained in this class is essential when doing practical treatments. Upon completion of this subject students may choose to add body/ holistic therapy qualifications and continue to further study. This is an excellent refresher course for students that completed this unit previously but don’t feel confident.

Where is the course available?

What is the success rate on passing this subject?
We have 100% pass rate to date. The Teacher delivering this course has a 100 percent pass rate from her students who attended her classes over the last 19 years, she is qualified in Bowen Technique, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, physiatrics, Hot stone and always works way beyond the syllabus which contributes to the high pass rate and professional standards.
Am I too old to do this course?
No. Students of all ages (over 18) have taken this course. Mature applicants often excel as they are very committed and focused. Our Teachers are simply exceptional at working with all different abilities.
How will I be assessed?
Your end-of-year exams will be in April. They will consist of 1 theory exam. The theory exam is multiple choice questions and sealed prior to the examination. ITEC exam board supplies the papers and sets the questions. Exams take place in a formal setting with an external supervisor.
Theory Exams:
Anatomy and physiology – 50 questions pass mark 50%. Mandatory.
Do I need a Uniform?
For a class time no. Comfortable smart clothing is recommended for classes. We find that students prefer to wear a black tunic as they feel more professional during their training.
Do I have to go on work experience?
No. There is no requirement to participate in work placement.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. The initial deposit of €50 will secure your place, this is non-refundable. Payment plans have been set up for €100/ €150 per month with the exception of December and January as these are difficult financial months. All fees must be paid by March to be eligible to sit the exam.
How much does the course cost?
The course costs €500 including the ITEC diploma exam fee.
Can I work abroad with this qualification?
Yes. ITEC Diploma is internationally recognised.
Do I need to have any other qualifications to do this course?
No. This course is open to all individuals that are over 18 and can communicate and understand English.
